A catch-all functionality that is activated for a specific mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. To state it differently, if you delete an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any mistyped address under the very same domain name, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial in case you are running a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk email messages, you can use the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filters so as to receive only real email messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting
In case you host a domain on our cloud platform and you’ve got a cloud hosting account, you’ll be able to activate the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain name. The Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section comes with quite a few features, but it’s extremely simple to use, so creating a catch-all mailbox takes just one mouse click. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be shown in this section in alphabetical order and you’ll only need to click on the "Catch-all" button for the concrete email address. Our system will alert you if there is already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either turn off the latter feature or choose some other mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all option is just as easy and requires yet another mouse click on the same button.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The catch-all feature can be activated with ease if you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have set up with the domains hosted in the account will be displayed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will notice a mini button handily located right next to each one. With only one single mouse click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your liking provided that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain name with the option already enabled and there isn't activated email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on an email address and enable this option through the contextual menu that will pop up. If any of the conditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will warn you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
